Abstract:
A cooling brassiere for managing radiation dermatitis is disclosed. The cooling brassiere for managing radiation dermatitis according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a pair of cup portions surrounding the breast and each having a pocket with an opening at one side; a connecting portion coupled below the cup portions; a first band portion having both ends coupled to the cup portions or the connecting portion and wrapping around the back to fix the cup portions to the breast; a second band portion having both ends coupled between the cup portions and the first band portion and wrapping around the shoulder to fix the cup portions to the breast; and a pair of cooling pads that are in close contact with and accommodated in the pocket and are replaceable, and thus, it is possible to prevent and manage acute radiation dermatitis of a patient undergoing radiation therapy.
