Abstract:
A cooling device for an air-conditioning outdoor unit is attached to a heat exchanger (101) of an outdoor unit (10) in a heat exchanging system. The cooling device for the air-conditioning outdoor unit comprises a plurality of mist spraying devices (spraying nozzles (106, 107, 108) illustrated in the drawing) and a sun-shading hood (104). The spraying nozzles (106, 107) provided at the edge portions of an inlet opening (104a) in the sun-shading hood (104) are disposed upstream of the inlet airflow to the heat exchanger and spray mist having a particle size of 45 [μm] or less. Mist particles having a minimum size which are not capable of evaporating transmit cooled heat to fins of the heat exchanger (101), thereby effectively reducing electric power consumption while suppressing corrosion of the fins.
