Abstract:
Provided is a cooling device for a casing support part of a rotary machine, with which the support part can be cooled and thermal expansion/thermal deformation of the support part can be suppressed without increasing running costs and equipment costs; also provided are a rotary machine using said cooling device, and a cooling method for a casing support part of a rotary machine. The rotary machine is equipped with: a rotor (2) having a rotor main body (20) and a pair of rotary shaft ends (21) affixed respectively to the outside of the rotor main body (20) in the axial direction; a casing (30) which houses the rotor main body (20) and through which the rotary shaft ends (21) penetrate; bearings (4) which support the rotary shaft ends (21) in a rotatable manner, and the bearing surface (41) of which is supplied with a lubricating fluid from a lubrication line (60); and support parts (5) supporting the casing (30). Heat is exchanged between the lubricating fluid and the support parts (5), thereby cooling the support parts (5).
