Abstract:
Disclosed are a cooling device and a control method for a fan-shaped section of a slab continuous casting machine, applied to the last fan-shaped section of the continuous casting machine. The cooling device comprises: a frame, and a plurality of sets of upper conveying rollers (2) and lower conveying rollers (2) which cooperate with each other and are uniformly distributed at intervals along a running direction of a slab (1); the frame is provided with a row of nozzle rod members (3) at positions on both sides of each set of the upper conveying rollers and the lower conveying rollers, the row of nozzle rod members comprising a plurality of nozzle rod members distributed at intervals; nozzles of the nozzle rod members are used for spraying cooling water columns towards upper and lower surfaces of the slab, and the cooling water columns have fan-shaped surfaces with a preset angle; and among the row of nozzle rod members, the fan-shaped surfaces of the cooling water columns formed by spraying by two adjacent nozzle rod members overlap. The cooling device can uniformly cool the upper and lower surfaces of the slab, so as to forcibly cool the slab, and can reduce burning loss of the slab and reduce steel material consumption.
