Abstract:
[Problem] Provided are a cooling device and a flowrate control method whereby the amount of refrigerant flowing into an evaporator can be quickly optimized without increasing control load, in a cooling device using refrigerant phase changes. [Solution] This cooling device 10 comprises: an evaporator 20 that phase-changes a refrigerant 70 from a liquid phase state to a gas phase state; a condenser 30 that phase-changes the refrigerant 70 from a gas phase state to a liquid phase state; a steam pipe 50 connected to the evaporator 20 and the condenser 30 and having refrigerant 70 in a gas phase state passing through the interior thereof; a liquid pipe 60 connected to the condenser 30 and the evaporator 20 and having refrigerant in the liquid phase state passing through the interior thereof; and a flowrate control means 40 that obtains the degree of superheating from a steam table corresponding to the refrigerant and controls the amount of refrigerant in the liquid phase state that will flow from the liquid pipe 60 to the evaporator 20, in accordance with the obtained degree of superheating.
