Abstract:

A cooling device (200) uses a vapour compression refrigeration cycle equipped with a compressor (210), a condenser (220), a receiver (230), an expansion valve (260), an evaporator (240), and an accumulator (250), to cool heat-generating sources (110, 120) using a refrigerant. The receiver (230) separates, into gas and liquid, the refrigerant subjected to heat exchange by the condenser (220). The accumulator (250) separates, into gas and liquid, the refrigerant subjected to heat exchange by the evaporator (240). The cooling device (200) opens a switching valve (270), which is capable of forming a link between the receiver (230) and the accumulator (250), to move the liquid refrigerant in the accumulator (250) to the receiver (230). The cooling device (200) uses a pressure adjustment unit (350) to restore the pressure difference between the receiver (230) and the accumulator (250) after the liquid refrigerant has been moved, to the pressure difference therebetween before the liquid refrigerant was moved.
