Abstract:
Disclosed is a cooling item that can be worn around the neck, is very comfortable to wear, does not get in the way, and is easy to put on. The basic configuration of said cooling item comprises a roughly-band-shaped main body that contains a water-absorbent polymer, at least, and a connector that removably connects the ends of the main body. The width of the main body, across the short direction of the band shape thereof, is less than a length comprising the height of the neck, at least. The length of the main body, along the long direction of the band shape thereof, is somewhat shorter than the circumference of the neck.
