Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is, in a cooling liquid discharge device (10) used for a ball screw apparatus (100) to be mounted on a machine tool, etc., to reduce a load on a driving device which rotates a screw shaft (2), to achieve a compact size, and to prevent increase in manufacturing cost. Thus, in a housing (14) of the cooling liquid discharge device (10) according to the present invention: proximity sections (5d, 6f) arranged to be proximate to the screw shaft 2 and reservoir chambers (11, 12, 13) which each temporarily retain a cooling liquid (8) are arranged alternately in the axial direction on the radially inner side of the housing; and discharge ports (5e, 6e, 6g) are formed which each discharge the cooling liquid (8) from the reservoir chambers (11, 12, 13).
