Abstract:
A bearing device (J) has: a plurality of rolling bearings (1, 1); and an outer ring spacer (4) and an inner ring spacer (5), which are arranged between the plurality of rolling bearings (1, 1). This cooling structure for the bearing device (J) is configured so that the outer ring spacer (4) has an annular recess (10) in the inner peripheral surface, and an air supply opening (11) for compressed air is open at the bottom surface of the recess (10). The outer, inner peripheral surfaces (16) of the outer ring spacer (4) have a cross-sectional shape which causes the inner diameter of the outer, inner peripheral surfaces (16) to increase toward the axially outer sides. Gas discharge openings (17) are formed in the axially outer ends of the outer, inner peripheral surfaces (16). The inner ring spacer (5) faces the outer ring spacer (4) with narrowed gaps (18) therebetween. The outer peripheral surface of the inner ring spacer (5) is configured so that the gap between the outer peripheral surface and the outer, inner peripheral surfaces (16) widens from the narrowed gaps (18) toward the axially outer sides. The outer diameter of axial ends of the inner ring spacer (5) is greater than that of axial ends of the inner rings (3) of the rolling bearing (1).
