Abstract:
A cooling structure for a fuel injection valve, the cooling structure efficiently releasing heat of a nozzle to a cylinder head to increase the effect of cooling of the fuel injection valve including the nozzle, thereby enabling the fuel injection valve to cope with high load operation of the engine. A fuel injection valve for injecting fuel from a nozzle hole by opening and closing a needle valve (2) which is slidably and reciprocatably fitted to the inner periphery of a nozzle (1) and has a tip made to be in contact with and separated from the seat of the nozzle, wherein a metal ring body (10) is provided between the outer periphery of a nozzle nut (3) and the inner peripheral surface of an outer peripheral sleeve (6) fitted to the outer periphery of the nozzle nut, the metal ring body (10) transmitting heat of the nozzle (1) to a cylinder head (110) through the nozzle nut (3) and the outer peripheral sleeve (6).
