A cooling system for electromagnetic coils, comprising: a liquid storage tank (10) used for holding an external insulating coolant, an electromagnetic coil cooling pipeline used for the insulating coolant provided therein to flow through, and a liquid driving mechanism (50); the electromagnetic coil cooling pipeline comprises: an electromagnetic coil (20), a first heat sink (63), and a second heat sink (64), which are located in the liquid storage tank and used for immersing in the external insulating coolant; the electromagnetic coil is provided with a cooling passage (21) for the insulating coolant provided therein to flow through; the liquid driving mechanism comprises: a hydraulic cylinder (51), a vacuum tank (55), and an air extraction apparatus (54) used for extracting air from the vacuum tank; the vacuum tank is provided with a liquid inlet, a liquid discharge port and an air outlet; one end of the electromagnetic-coil cooling pipeline is formed as a first end and communicates with a liquid outlet of the hydraulic cylinder. The cooling system for electromagnetic coils may improve the effect of electromagnetic coil cooling.
