Title:
COOLING SYSTEM FOR MOTOR VEHICLES AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AT LEAST ONE AIR MASS FLOWING THROUGH A RADIATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2003013894
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a cooling system (1) for motor vehicles, comprising at least one radiator which is supplied with an air flow in a first operational mode, especially in a dynamic pressure phase, via an air flow path and which in an alternative or simultaneous second operational mode, especially in a ventilator phase, can be impinged upon by a second air flow passing along a second air flow path by means of an air conveyor device. Both air flow paths are least partially disposed at an angle to each other, whereby the air conveyor device is located outside or substantially outside the first air flow path. The invention also relates to a corresponding method.
