Abstract:
Provided is a cooling system for a power conversion device, comprising: a radiator; a radiator fan for supplying air to the radiator; and a power conversion device configured from a plurality of electrical components and a casing containing therein the plurality of electrical components. The casing is configured from: a base part hat is formed of a non-metallic material and has the plurality of electrical components placed thereon; and a cover part that is formed of a metallic material and fixed to the base part, the cover part covering the periphery of the plurality of electrical components. The base part of the casing has formed therein a refrigerant channel that channels a refrigerant for cooling the plurality of electrical components, and the casing is disposed at a position at which an airflow from the radiator fan strikes the cover part.
