Abstract:
A cooling system is provided with: an evaporator (1) that absorbs heat by way of vaporization of a liquid-phase refrigerant R; a condenser (2) that dissipates heat by way of liquefaction of a gas-phase refrigerant (R); a resistance body (8) that is provided in a pipeline (3) from the evaporator (1) toward the condenser (2) and that applies a resistance to the refrigerant (R); state detection sensors (9) that are provided in the pipeline (3) in positions on the upstream side and the downstream side of the resistance body (8) and that detect the state of the refrigerant (R) flowing at each side of the pipeline (3); and a flow rate control means (C) that detects the presence of droplets in the refrigerant (R) flowing in the pipeline (3) on the basis of the difference in the detected values from the state detection sensors (9) detected on the upstream side and the downstream side of the resistance body (8) and that controls the flow rate of the refrigerant (R) on the basis of the detection results.
