Abstract:
A cooling system for vehicle comprises a first cooling water circuit for circulating cooling water through the interior of an engine, a waste heat collector for collecting the waste heat of a vehicle-mounted heat source and heating the cooling water passing through the interior thereof, a second cooling water circuit for circulating cooling water through the interior of the waste heat collector, and a water temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of cooling water in the engine, wherein the cooling water of the first cooling water circuit and the cooling water of the second cooling water circuit are mixed when the temperature detected by the water temperature sensor reaches a half warm-up determination value which is set lower than a value for determining completion of engine warm-up.  Consequently, when the temperature of cooling water is raised individually with the heat generated from the engine and the heat collected from the vehicle-mounted heat source by the waste heat collector, and when the cooling water on the engine side and the cooling water on the waste heat collector side, the temperatures of which are raised individually, are mixed, control based on the cooling water temperature can be carried out with no trouble.
