Provided is a cooling system provided with a form advantageous for arranging a cooling machine and a heat exchanger, for example, inside and outside a heat insulation box separately. A cooling unit 13 that discharges cool air through heat exchange using a refrigerant and a heat exchange unit 12 that returns the refrigerant to a coolable state are connected and integrated by being connected at the upper parts thereof by a connection part 14, so as to form a cooling device. The connection part 14 is disposed so as to straddle an end of the side wall 51 of a heat insulation box 15, the cooling unit 13 is disposed inside the heat insulation box 15, and the heat exchange unit 12 is disposed outside the heat insulation box 15. The cooling device 11 is mounted to the heat insulation box 15 during storage or during movement by a delivery vehicle, etc. For transportation by hand-held carrying, the heat insulation box 15 alone, from which the cooling device 11 has been removed, can be transported.
