Abstract:
A cooling unit 1a comprises a two-stage compressor 2a, a gas cooler 3, an intercooler 6, a first pressure reducer 4 disposed upstream of the intercooler, a second pressure reducer 7 disposed downstream of the intercooler, a vaporizer 8, and an oil separator 5. The oil separator 5 is disposed between the intercooler 6 and the first pressure reducer 4, which is located downstream of the gas cooler 3, and the oil separator 5 is configured to separate out oil 14 included in the refrigerant 9 and to feed the separated oil 14 to the two-stage compressor 2a. Accordingly, the temperature of the refrigerant at an intermediate pressure in the two-stage compressor 2a is reduced, the intake gas density is increased, and the refrigerant circulation quantity can be increased, thus giving a cooling unit having a high refrigerating capacity.
