Abstract:
A housing (20) has a tubular section (29) that cooling water can pass through. A valve (30) has: a valve main body (31) rotatable around an axis; and a valve opening (36) formed in an outer wall (34) of the valve main body (31) and through which cooling water can flow. A seat member (600) has: a positioning section (71) reciprocally movable in the axial direction and having an outer circumferential wall (711) thereof positioned in the radial direction by an inner circumferential wall (290) of the tubular section (29); and a seat surface (62) in contact with the outer wall (34) and capable of holding, in a tight state, between the outer wall (34) the valve main body (31). An impelling member (81) can impel the seat member (600) such that the seat surface (62) is pushed against the outer wall (34) of the valve main body (31). The tubular section (29) has groove sections (90) formed so as to be recessed towards the outside in the radial direction from the inner circumferential wall (290), in at least part of a range that overlaps the positioning unit (71) in the axial direction.
