Abstract:
[Problem] To reduce an error generated in a correction amount due to pen inclination regarding a coordinate detection method which uses a correction table. [Solution] A coordinate detection method according to the present invention includes: a coordinate detection step S1 for acquiring detection coordinates corresponding to the position of a pen tip electrode of a pen by detecting a distribution of signal levels within a touch surface through use of a plurality of linear electrodes arranged within the touch surface; an inclination detection step S2 for acquiring inclination data indicating pen inclination; and a correction amount acquisition step S3 for acquiring a correction amount corresponding to a combination of the detection coordinates detected in the step S1 and the inclination data detected in the step S2 by referring to a correction table where the combination of the coordinates and the inclination data are associated with the correction amount.
