Abstract:
Disclosed is a copolymer of monomers which comprises a polymer aggregate and which
is expected to be useful as a constituent material for an electrophotographic developing
agent, a printing ink, a coating or the like. Also disclosed is a microparticle of
the copolymer. Further disclosed is a method for production of the microparticle. It
is found that a copolymer composed of a fluorinated monomer and an aminated monomer
can be added with a specific compound in supercritical or subcritical carbon
dioxide to form a non-covalent croslinking in the copolymer, thereby producing
a spherical ultramicroparticle composed of a polymer aggregate based on the
principle shown in Fig. 2.
