Abstract:

[Problem] The present invention addresses the problem of providing a copolymer polyamide having superior strength, high-temperature strength, low water absorption, low blocking tendency, mold release properties, and plasticizing-time stability, as well as a copolymer polyamide composition having superior vibration fatigue properties, surface appearance, and continuous productivity. [Solution] This copolymer polyamide is obtained by polymerizing (a) at least one type of alicyclic dicarboxylic acid, (b) one type of C8 or higher diamine, and (c) at least one type of copolymer component selected from the group consisting of (c-1) to (c-3) noted below; and is a copolymer polyamide that satisfies specific conditions. Here, (c-1) is a dicarboxylic acid other than an alicyclic dicarboxylic acid, (c-2) is a diamine having a smaller carbon number than the (b) diamine, and (c-3) is a lactam and/or aminocarboxylic acid.
