Abstract:
A copolymer characterized by comprising repeating units represented by the
general formula (1) and repeating units represented by the general formula (2):
(1) [wherein A and B are each independently an optionally substituted aromatic
ring; X is -O-, -S-, -S(=O)-, -S(=O)2-, -Si(R1)2-Si(R1)2-,
-Si(R1)2-, -B(R1)-, -P(R1)-, -P(=O)(R1)-,
-O-C(R1)2-, or -N=C(R1)-; R1 is a substituent;
and when plural R1’s are present, they may be the same or different]
(2) [wherein Y is -O-, -S-, or -C(=O)-; Ar1 is optionally substituted
aryl or an optionally substituted monovalent heterocyclic group, with the proviso
that no substituent attaches to the Ar1-constituting atoms which
are adjacent to the atom bonded to the nitrogen atom; R2 is a substituent;
n is an integer of 0 to 3; plural n’s may be the same or different; and when
plural R2’s are present, they may be the same or different].
