Abstract:
The present invention provides: a copolymer which is obtained by copolymerizing one or more kinds of cyclic olefin monomers and one or more kinds of chain olefin monomers or by copolymerizing two or more kinds of cyclic olefin monomers, and which is characterized by having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 100°C or more, a refractive index of 1.545 or more and an Abbe number of 50 or more; a polymer (B) which is selected from among a ring-opened homopolymer obtained by ring-opening polymerization of a monomer represented by formula (I) by itself, a ring-opened copolymer obtained by ring-opening copolymerization of a monomer represented by formula (I) and a monomer that is ring-opening copolymerizable with the monomer represented by formula (I), and hydrogenated products of these polymers; a molding material which contains the copolymer (A) or the polymer (B); and a resin molded body which is obtained by molding this molding material.
