Abstract:
Provided are a copolymer for a transparent, scratch-resistant plate having excellent transparency, surface hardness, and appearance, and a laminate for a transparent, scratch-resistant plate using this copolymer. A copolymer for a transparent, scratch-resistant plate comprising 45-85 mass% of an aromatic vinyl monomer unit, 5-45 mass% of a (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer unit, and 10-20 mass% of an unsaturated dicarboxylic anhydride monomer unit, and having a total light transmittance at a thickness of 2 mm, measured based on ASTM D1003, of 88% or higher. A laminate for a transparent, scratch-resistant plate obtained using this copolymer for a transparent, scratch-resistant plate.
