Abstract:
Provided is a Corson alloy which exhibits excellent bending workability while simultaneously exhibiting high dimensional accuracy after press-working. This copper alloy strip is characterized: by being rolled stock containing Ni in the amount of 0-5.0 mass% or Co in the amount of 0-2.5 mass%, a combined Ni+Co amount of 0.2-5%, and Si in the amount of 0.2-1.5 mass%, with the remainder constituting copper and inevitable impurities; in that A0/A≤1.000, when the base material surface is subjected to a Vickers hardness test which involves maintaining a 1kg load test force using a square-based pyramid indenter for 10 seconds, A0 is the projected area of the depression left in the base material surface after releasing the test force, and A is the surface area of the top of the indenter; and in that 0.1≤I(200)/I0(200)<1.0, when I(200) is the X-ray diffraction intensity from the (200) plane of the surface, and I0(200) represents each of the X-ray diffraction intensities from the (200) plane of a pure copper powder reference sample.
