Abstract:
Provided is a copper alloy wire that has an excellent balance of strength, conductivity, and drawability. A copper alloy wire according to the present invention has an alloy composition containing 1.0 mass% to 6.0 mass% of Ag, the remainder being Cu and unavoidable impurities. In terms of the 111 diffraction peak intensity I(111), 200 diffraction peak intensity I(200), 220 diffraction peak intensity I(220), and 311 diffraction peak intensity I(311) obtained via X‐ray diffraction analysis of the surface thereof, the peak intensity ratio of the total intensity of the peak intensity I(111), the peak intensity I(200), and the peak intensity I(311) to the peak intensity I(220) ((the peak intensity I(111) + the peak intensity I(200) + the peak intensity I(311))/the peak intensity I(220)) is 1.20-3.00 inclusive.
