Abstract:
A copper foam powder. Raw materials for manufacturing the copper foam powder comprise a copper oxide powder. The copper oxide powder is prepared by mixing copper oxide powders of different grain sizes. The grain size of the copper oxide powder is 5-75 μm. Further disclosed is a method for manufacturing a copper foam powder. The method comprises: uniformly mixing copper oxide powders of different grain sizes to obtain a mixed copper oxide powder; adding the mixed copper oxide powder into a reductive sintering furnace for reductive sintering to obtain a sintered copper; and milling and screening the sintered copper to obtain a copper foam powder. None or only a very small quantity of a pore-forming agent is needed for the copper foam powder. The invention does not influence a material performance and application of the copper matrix. The copper foam obtained has high porosity and small pore diameter. The copper foam powder has a simple manufacturing method and technique, has a low cost, and does not pollute the environment.
