Title:
COPPER PIPE HAVING EXCELLENT RESISTANCE TO ANT-NEST CORROSION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/061271
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a copper pipe having excellent anti-corrosion properties, which can exhibit significantly higher resistance to ant-nest corrosion and which can be advantageously used as a heat transfer pipe, a refrigerant pipe, and the like, in an air conditioner or a refrigerator, and to advantageously improve the service life of a machine constituted using this type of copper pipe. This copper pipe contains 0.15-0.50 wt.% of P, with the remainder comprising Cu and unavoidable impurities, and is constituted so that the difference between the maximum and minimum values of the concentration of P in a Cu parent phase is less than 0.03 wt.% in a 300 μm × 300 μm region of a pipe wall section that is parallel to the pipe axis direction.
