Abstract:
Provided are a copper powder having high absorptivity during laser irradiation and that enables efficient heat input, thereby enabling fusion joining using a low-energy laser, and that also has high convenience of handling, and a method for manufacturing the same. A copper powder having an absorptivity of 18.9% to 65.0% to light having a wavelength λ = 1060 nm, and for which an index thereof representing the ratio of the absorptivity to light having a wavelength λ = 1060 nm with respect to the oxygen concentration of the copper powder is 3.0 or greater.
