Abstract:
Provided is a cord fastener that can simultaneously increase the ease of use of a cord and the gripping force produced when temporarily fixing the cord in place. Said cord fastener (2) has a main body (3) that can store a plurality of cord ends (1A). The main body has a roughly-cylindrical socket (10) and a plug (20) that is inserted into the socket (10). The socket (10) has a cord opening (11), a plug opening (12), a storage section (13) that stores a prescribed length of the cord ends (1A), and a plurality of lock parts (14) that lock the cord ends (1A) stored inside the storage section (13). The plug (20) has: a base (21) that plugs the plug opening (12) in the socket (10); a leg (22) that extends from the base (21), the leg and base forming a single unit, and is inserted into the storage section (13) of the socket (10); and a temporary fixing part (30) that temporarily fixes the cord ends (1A) in place. The temporary fixing part (30) has first protrusions (31, 23) and a second protrusion (32) that protrude sideways from the leg (22). There are at least two first protrusions arranged along the direction in which the leg (22) extends, and the second protrusion is disposed opposite a gap between first protrusions.
