Abstract:
A cord lock is provided with a male element and a female element which contains a part of the male element so that the male element can be depressed against the pressing by a pressing means, and the cord lock is configured so that cord pass-through holes in the side portions of the male element and the female element are aligned with each other when the male element is depressed to a predetermined depressed position. Catches are formed at the male element at positions thereof which are at side sections thereof located along the direction crossing the direction in which the pass-through hole penetrates through the male element, and the positions of the catches are closer to the side of the male element against which the male element is depressed than the edge of the pass-through hole which is on the leading side of the male element when the male element is being depressed. The catches are adapted to be engaged with latches of the female element by the pressing by the pressing means and prevent the male element from coming out of the position where the male element is located before being depressed.
