Abstract:
The cord (12) for rubber reinforcement of the present invention includes at least one strand. The strand comprises at least one filament bundle and a coating film disposed so as to cover at least some of the surface of the filament bundle. The coating film comprises: a rubber component comprising a carboxyl-modified nitrile rubber and/or a carboxyl-modified hydrogenated nitrile rubber; an isocyanate compound; a bismaleimide-based compound; carbon black; and a rubber-modified epoxy resin. The coating film includes 10-50 parts by mass of the isocyanate compound, 5-25 parts by mass of the bismaleimide-based compound, 2-18 parts by mass of the carbon black, and 5-30 mass% rubber-modified epoxy resin per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component.
