Abstract:
A cordless vacuum cleaner and a control method therefor may be provided. Specifically, a cordless vacuum cleaner and a control method therefor may be provided, the cordless vacuum cleaner comprising: a main body; a brush device which comes into close contact with a surface to be cleaned and suctions air and foreign substances from the surface to be cleaned; and an extension pipe which connects the main body and the brush device, and to which the brush device is rotatably coupled. The main body comprises: a suction motor for suctioning dust; at least one battery driving the suction motor; and at least one processor, wherein the at least one battery (1500) among different types of batteries is detachably coupled to the main body (1000), and the at least one processor identifies the type of the at least one battery and controls the output of the suction motor on the basis of the type.
