Title:
CORE ASSEMBLY OF A SUPERCHARGING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/110388
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a core assembly of a supercharging device, in particular of an exhaust-gas turbocharger, for a motor vehicle, having a plurality of components sealingly connected to one another. Owing to the splitting-up of the core assembly geometries into individual structural elements, such as for example a turbine housing rear wall (3) formed as a perforated disc, a cylindrical bearing housing outer casing (4) formed with a conical end section (19), a bearing carrier (5), a compressor housing rear wall (6) formed as a perforated disc, and a casing element (7) and further components such as a bush (16) and at least one fluid port (9, 10), it is possible for a supercharging device (1) formed with such a core assembly (2) to be produced more cheaply and easily overall, because owing to a possible composite design, high-grade material need be used only at the required locations.
