Abstract:
This core body temperature estimation method includes a thermal image acquisition step (S103) for acquiring a target thermal image (11), a probability image generation step (S104) for generating a region probability image (18) indicating the probability that each of a plurality of pixels in the target thermal image (11) corresponds to the face portion of a person (99), a region division step (S105) for dividing the target thermal image (11) into one or more face portion regions, a region generation step (S108) for generating an estimation target region (Sq), a resolution conversion step (S109) for converting a partial thermal image (14) that corresponds to the estimation target region (Sq) and a partial region probability image (15) that corresponds to the estimation target region (Sq) to a prescribed resolution, and an output step (S114) for inputting a partial thermal image (16) and a partial region probability image (17) obtained through said conversion to the prescribed resolution into a trained body temperature estimation model and outputting an estimated value for the core body temperature.
