Abstract:
The present invention provides a core component in which a powder compact and a resin mold portion are firmly bonded together. A core component is provided with a powder compact obtained by pressure-molding a raw material powder containing a soft magnetic powder and a resin mold portion formed on the surface of the powder compact, and forms a part of a magnetic core disposed inside and outside a coil provided in a reactor. An interlayer formed of a silane coupling agent is provided between the powder compact and the resin mold portion. It is possible to firmly bond the powder compact and the resin mold portion, the interlayer formed of a silane coupling agent being interposed therebetween. The silane coupling agent chemically bonds to the surface of the powder compact and chemically bonds to the resin mold portion; therefore, the joining of the powder compact and the resin mold portion interposed therebetween by the interlayer is extremely strong.
