A composite material, a core material thereof, and a manufacturing method for the core material. The core material comprises several cell units. The cell unit comprises a second type of cell wall (12) connected to a cell unit adjacent thereto, and further comprises a first type of cell wall (11); the first type of cell wall (11) comprises two connected cell walls; an included angle is formed between two adjacent cell walls in the same first type of cell wall (11), such that the first type of cell wall (11) is of a bending structure; four adjacent first type of cell walls (11) and two adjacent second type of cell walls (12) are enclosed to form a first type of cell units (1) and a second type of cell units (10) that are in different shapes. The first type of cell wall (11) has the ability to regularly induce the first type of cell wall to deform; when the core material is under stress in an L-direction or a W-direction, and the stress is transmitted to the cell units, the included angle between two adjacent cell walls is changed to compensate for the deformation in the other direction perpendicular to the deformation direction; the deformation ability of the core material when being under stress is improved, so that the core material has the ability to shape a spherical surface, etc. having a non-expandable curved surface.
