Abstract:
A hollow cylindrical wire protection tube (17) has a slit formed throughout the longitudinal direction thereof. A molding device (23) forms a molded portion on the outer circumferential side of the wire protection tube (17) by mold-clamping a part of the wire protection tube (17) in the longitudinal direction by a die (27), wherein a core (25) that is mold-clamped by the die (27) together with the wire protection tube (17) during molding is provided with: a bar-like core main body (63) housed inside the wire protection tube (17); and a projecting piece (65) projected at a portion of the outer circumferential surface of the core main body (63), which is to be mold-clamped by the die (27), and projecting from the slit (15) of the wire protection tube (17).
