Abstract:
Provided are: a means for identifying a cell which is suitable for transplantation into the cornea; and a means for producing a cell population, which is suitable for transplantation into the cornea, by using the aforesaid means.
A method for producing a cell population which is suitable for transplantation into the cornea, said method comprising: (1) a step for preparing a cell population having been cultured under conditions suitable for inducing differentiation into corneal endothelial cells; and (2) a step for, in the cell population, measuring the expression of at least one gene selected from the group consisting of POU6F2, LMX1B and TFAP2B.
