Abstract:
Provided is a SARS-CoV-2-inactivating agent exhibiting an excellent SARS-CoV-2-inactivating effect. This SARS coronavirus-2-inactivating agent contains, as effective components, a linear alkylbenzenesulfonate, and at least one polyoxyethylene alkyl ether selected from among a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, in which the number of carbon atoms in an alkyl group is 12 and the addition molar number of ethylene oxide is 7, and a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, in which the number of carbon atoms in an alkyl group is 12 and the addition molar number of ethylene oxide is 8, wherein the concentration (X) of the linear alkylbenzenesulfonate is at least 12.5 ppm, the concentration (Y) of the polyoxyethylene alkyl ether is at least 4.0 ppm, and expression (1) is satisfied.
