Abstract:
Data management concerning trade customers and group companies thereof has hitherto been performed manually. Further, when a capital relationship or the like between companies changes, the responsibility for reflecting this change in data of each company resides in supervising offices of each company, so coordination arises between the supervising offices. However, branch offices of a financial institution, which act as supervising offices, may be located in various countries, and coordination among the supervising offices may not be easy. A corporate group managing method of the present invention comprises centrally managing the data pertaining to trade customers and group companies thereof using a computing system, and sharing the data among supervising offices. The corporate group managing method includes, particularly when a change arises in a capital relationship or the like between companies: allowing each supervising office to confirm the contents of the change in terms of a trading partner of the office, a trading partner of another office, and mutual relationships; providing decision information pertaining to the need to update corporate group data; and updating corporate group data to the latest state.
