Abstract:
An optical modulation system (1) comprises a correction function which corrects an operation point drift of an MZ optical modulation apparatus (12) by feedback control using a low-frequency signal (#12). An assessment unit (18) assesses the stability of the feedback control. Additionally, a low-frequency signal generation unit (14) switches the low-frequency signal (#12) frequency from a first frequency to a second frequency when it is assessed that the feedback control is unstable.
