Abstract:
A corrosion inhibitor including a long-chain aliphatic amine, an anticorrosive for azole-based copper, and a low-molecular-weight polymer. A method for preventing corrosion that involves adding the long-chain aliphatic amine, the anticorrosive for azole-based copper, and the low-molecular-weight polymer to a cooling water system. A corrosion-resistant coating is formed on the surface of an iron-based member by the long-chain aliphatic amine. Excessive adsorption of the long-chain aliphatic amine to a copper-based member is prevented by the low-molecular-weight polymer. Corrosion of the copper-based member is prevented by the anticorrosive for azole-based copper.
