Abstract:
A corrosion monitoring device (10) is provided with a sensor unit (10a) that has: an insulating substrate (4); a stainless steel plate (1), which is disposed on the insulating substrate, and which is formed of a stainless steel; an aluminum piece (2), which is connected to the stainless steel plate, and which is formed of aluminum having a lower corrosion potential than the stainless steel, and a smaller electrical resistivity than the stainless steel; and extraction electrodes (3, 3) connected to the stainless steel plate. The corrosion monitoring device is also provided with a resistance meter (5) that measures electrical resistance of the sensor unit when a current is carried to the sensor unit.
