Abstract:
A corrosion resistance test method for a coated metal material is an electrochemical method simulating corrosion that is promoted by a scratch on a surface treatment film 4. Portions of artificial scratches 5 at two locations separated from each other on a coated metal material 1 in which the surface treatment film 4 is provided on a metal substrate 2 are electrically connected by the external circuit 11 via a hydrous electrolyte material 6, and corrosion is promoted by electrification by taking one of the two artificial scratches 5 as an anode site and taking the other as a cathode site.
