Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to improve heat exchange performance of a corrugated fin type heat exchanger in which a flat tube can be replaced. The heat exchanger comprises a flat tube 2 having a pair of flat surfaces 2a, corrugated fins 3 having bottom portions 3b and top portions 3c in which pairs of rising upper surfaces 3d and rising lower surfaces 3e are connected in a corrugated shape, a plurality of tube elements 5 in which only the bottom portions 3b of the corrugated fins 3 are joined to the pair of flat surfaces 2a of the flat tube 2, and a pair of tanks 1 into which both ends of the flat tubes 2 of each tube element 5 are inserted, wherein the tube elements 5 are arranged so that the top portions 3c of the corrugated fins 3 are spaced apart from each other, and projections 4 for airflow guidance parallel to a ridgeline 3a of the waves of the corrugated fin are formed on the rising upper surfaces 3d and rising lower surfaces 3e near the top portions 3c.
