Abstract:
The invention relates to an applicator (1) for applying a decorative cosmetic having a consistency capable of flowing out of a reservoir, such as mascara in particular, comprising an applicator brush equipped with a bristle field (3), which is made of outwardly protruding bristles (4, 5) and/or bristle disks (17,18) and comprises stationary bristles (4) and/or bristle disks (17), wherein the bristle field (3) is additionally formed of mobile bristles (5) and/or bristle disks (18), the base area of which can be moved relative to the base area of the stationary bristles (4) or the bristle disks (17) such that a free space (8, 35) between the stationary bristles or bristle disks, which can be loaded with the cosmetic by dipping the brush into the reservoir, can be arbitrarily varied.
