Abstract:
Provided is a cosmetic applicator that improves the amount of liquid cosmetics retained in an application portion and that has excellent usability on the lips in particular. A cosmetic applicator (20A) comprises a brush shaft (22) for which the basal end (300) is an operation portion (21), and an application portion (30) that is attached to the distal end of the brush shaft (22). The application portion (30) is configured so that an application face (301, 302, 303) in the circumferential direction of the brush shaft is multifaceted, and each application face (301, 302, 303) is a continuous face without interruption in the axial direction and comprises recesses (321, 322, 323) for which the center part in the width direction of the application face is depressed toward the shaft center (O). Thereby, it is possible to improve liquid retaining effects.
