Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising calamine dispersed in a biopolymer. The cosmetic composition of the present invention has calamine, exhibiting a gelation phenomenon, dispersed in a biopolymer which is a natural polymeric material, and thus, not only is a stable oil-in-water (O/W) formulation secured, but also excellent moisturizing may be provided by having moisture contained in the formulation for a long period, and thus the cosmetic composition may be usefully employed as a cosmetic composition for which such formulation is needed.
