Abstract:
The invention relates to a cosmetic composition, for skin make-up, lips, eyebrows or nails, comprising a liquid fatty phase and a cellulose or a liposoluble modified cellulose derivative in a cosmetically-acceptable medium, whereby said cellulose or modified cellulose derivative comprises free hydroxy groups completely or partly replaced by hydrophobic groups of formula -O-Y-R, where R is a group selected from: A) saturated or unsaturated, straight-chain or branched, or saturated or unsaturated cyclic hydrocarbons with 8 to 50 C atoms for the modified cellulose, or 4 to 50 C atoms for the modified cellulose derivative, said groups optionally comprising in the chains thereof one or more aromatic groups and one or more heteroatoms selected from the group of O, N, P, Si, or S, whereby said groups are optionally fluorinated or perfluorinated, or B) polymeric groups selected from polyolefins, hydrogenated or non-hydrogenated polydienes, lipophilic polycondensates and mixtures thereof and Y is a single bond or a divalent bridging group.
